How Our Treats Are Made
How Our Treats Are Made
We keep the process simple on purpose: real ingredients, small batches, and no unnecessary extras.
Start with the ingredient
Most Lazy Dog Mom treats are built around a single recognizable ingredient — chicken breast, liver, hearts, kidney, duck feet, duck necks, pig ears, beef pizzle, and similar whole-food cuts.
Prep it for the kind of treat it is
Different ingredients need different preparation. Some are sliced thin, some are butterflied, and some chews are left whole so they keep their natural structure and texture.
Dehydrate in small batches
Our treats are gently or slowly dehydrated in small batches. The goal is to keep the flavor, texture, and natural character of the ingredient intact without turning it into a mystery snack.
Skip the unnecessary stuff
Our single-ingredient treats are made without fillers, artificial flavor coatings, or unnecessary preservatives. What you see on the label is what you’re feeding.
Package and label clearly
Treats are packaged with clear ingredient information so you know what is in the bag.
Why we do it this way
Lazy Dog Mom is built around feeding with intention. Treats should fit into the same philosophy as the rest of your dog’s diet: recognizable ingredients, useful information, and no need to guess what you’re handing them.
Feeding note: Treats and chews vary in richness and purpose. Follow the feeding notes on each product, supervise chewing, and provide fresh water.
